Default Poor andronench scores. Should I exchange my tf701?

I just got my new tf701. It's running stock android 4.2.2. The Androbench micro scores are worse than my old Transformer Prime. I thought the tf701 didn't have poor performing internal sd like the tfp did. What are your scores? Should I exchange it?

Here're my tf701 Androbench micro test scores:
Sequential Read: 67.12 MB/s
Sequential Write: 14.37 MB/s
Random read: 7.21 MB/s, 1846.66 IOPS (4K)
Random write: 0.82 MB/s, 209.94 IOPS (4K)

SQLite scores:
Insert: 68.15 TPS, 4.4 sec
Update: 85.03 TPS, 3.52 sec
Delete: 82.94 TPS, 3.61 sec
all of them are below the Transformer Prime's.

hello

i just ran mine i got similar results. i think it is wrong as i copy between tab and sd often and copies faster than that result much faster.

i got rand write 1.2
rand read 36.8

no reboot for days.

i ran on 3.2 and remember much higher

so it may be firmware

i wonder what the custom rom that is out gets

anyway it seems like next update may be 3.4 so lets hope its polished.

im happy with performance and since update i have not got garbled screen.

the dock though is still **** and it seems to drain the batt faster when docked then undocked

though havinf a 64gb sd card may cause extra drain?

Thanks. I feel better. I hope more members can post about their AndroBench results.

My TF701 is not running slow. I just want to make sure I don't get a defective one.

I have owned a Transformer Prime (TF201) for a couple of years. TF201 is notorious for having slow internal SD. I ran custom ROMs that had Data2SD. The current ROM on it is Voyager2K's Paranoid 3.99. I don't use Data2SD on it anymore even though that's an option. The reason is my AndroBench scores are excellent without Data2SD, big improvements from the beginning, esp the writes. I don't know what Voyager2k did to make his ROM improve on SD speeds. But the OS itself can obviously make the difference.

My TF201 with stock 4.x ROM:
Sequential Read: 18.07 MB/s
Sequential Write: 3.85 MB/s
Random read: 5.25 MB/s, 1345.42 IOPS (4K)
Random write: 0.21 MB/s, 55.82 IOPS (4K)
The writes are much better even though the reads are not as good

My TF201 with PA ROM 3.99 w/o Data2SD:
Sequential Read: 13.3 MB/s
Sequential Write: 159.77 MB/s
Random read: 4.86 MB/s, 1246.38 IOPS (4K)
Random write: 160.58 MB/s, 41109.08 IOPS (4K)
The writes are much better even though the reads are not as good

I don't trust those scores. Sounds like fsync might be off in which case you can forget the write scores being reliable.
