Just noticed today that on one side of my Note 3's screen is a bit discolored. I've researched online that this is common to happen when users drop their phones. I have dropped my phone once before, but definitely did not cause this to happen. Does anyone happen to know if this is covered w/ the warranty or mobile insurance (I have both). If covered by insurance I was told I would have to pay a $199 deductible. Also bought the phone the first day it came out (about 4 months ago), so I'm still under warranty...
Anyone have any kind of experience similar to mine?

bring to Samsung Service Center, maybe you can claim the warranty that happens on your device
