[Q] When attempting install/factory reset, data & cache cannot be mounted

I was really hopeful that that was going to work. It went through the process and claimed success. However, I then tried to install the ROM and was left with the same message. "E:Unable to mount '/sdcard'"

God I'm so frustrated with this phone right now (though I recognize it's likely all something that I did)

When I flashed cm 11 I wasn't able to use twrp. I had to switch to cwm recovery

Took the red pill. HTC evo 4G LTE evilution red pill.
