Can't connect to mobile data

Today I started to get "Mobile data - Disconnected because service is unavailable". No data connection icon will show up on the top but it can show full bars for signal. I'm not sure as I was transiting and sending texts, when the train went into a tunnel with no signal.

I've tried restarting the phone and turning airplane mode on and off but nothing seems to work. Wi-Fi and SMS both work fine.

I'm using a 901e on Telus (HSPA).

Change to a different settings wcdma or gsm

hmm eventually it started working again, it could be some downtime on my network. However this problem isn't uncommon with other HTC phones and there isn't really a definite way to solve it :S
