i think they only carry the sm900a and you only need the protection plan for damage they can blame on you like water damage or a broke screen

Yes only at&t carries the sm-n900a
Tmobile has the 900t
Verizon has the 900v
The standard unlocked version is 9000
The international version is 9005
And there's even more!
