I replied like that, because there is no such thing. It all depends on your setup, your usage... What's good for someone, won't necessary be good for you. There are not too many roms out there, have a look at a few last pages of the roms thread to see the user's responses.

You'd be just as well off debloating your stock rom as flashing a custom rom. They all make next to no difference if any at all. Most of those people who claim omg rom X doubled my battery life are full of it. It's just based on perception and not scientific evidence.

You can't. Why wouldn't your root in the first place? You can't do anything on the Note 3 without rooting with all those Samsung restrictions..

PS: Ok to be completely fair, you can to some extent. Check Application Manager, uninstall all apps and disable all apps you can and don't need. But you might still notice than more than 3/4 of the apps you can't disable/uninstall
