If you can get into download mode, I would try using the LG Flashtool and flashing stock files. If you can't even get it to boot, its worth looking into. There is a few threads about how to get back to stock. http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2438088

Well if I got it to download mode and was able to get the dll and tot files to flash the stock back to it. I'm debating on actually rooting my phone now I see they have 4.4 out for the E980

There are quite a few 4.4 builds for the e980. My opinion? Root it, and get some kit kat goodness. The roms are becoming better and better every day. The devs do amazing work.

Thanks in just not sure if the possibility of bribing is worth it and I like the idea of a total back up including apps and such
