Question [Q] Can't Update to 4.4.2 OTA , Red exclamation mark

So , my phone received the update today , my phone is HTC one 801e Asia WWE Version, And the update file that the phone downloaded OTA is 4.20.707.7 which is update from 4.3 to 4.4.2

After the phone finished downloading the update, i pressed Install now. the Phone reboot and show a Green triangle screen and a progress bar.

But suddenly the red triangle with exclamation mark appear. and there's no message below it.

so i tried it for 4 times and still the same. tried to go to the Recovery while on red triangle screen, and i went to the recovery screen and there's a message that there's some problem with system/task.apk (i forgot what the message is) . regarding task.apk, i had a bootloop once after i ran out of my battery. So i get to bootloader menu and factory reset my phone. and it work again, but my phone keep telling me the com.htc.task is crashing. and after i did do factory reset, a Com.htc.task.tasklistviewactivit appear on my app drawer

my phone is :

m7 u pvt ship s-on rh
hboot 1.55.0000
radio 0-4a.21.3263.04

and i never rooted (either plan to root, haven't claimed my warranty yet for the camera) and yes the bootloader still locked. i'm think that htc.task thingy is causing this problem...

Lol, you mean i can't do anything to save it without rooting?

if that so, i will send my phone to service center to get a replacement camera sensor and probably ask them to fix it

Yes. Send it in for warranty is better if you have the option.
