Unhappy Urgent Help Needed

I accidently deleted some .odex file in I8262 and then many apps forced closed themselves. So I rebooted the phone but after vibrating, it shows the Model number and Then BOOT animation And gets stuck where SAMSUNG logo is glowing with blue background.
Now I think I soft-bricked my phone, Can I recover it, if yes how?
Most of my vids and imgs are in ext sdcard so I suppose they are safe
Can I recover Contacts and messages?
Note that before this **** happened, my core was rooted....
Need urgent HELP!!!
UPDATE I deleted all the .odex files in system\app then this happened..

Get into download mode by pressing d vol down + meu + power. Click vol up to continue and flash stock rom from here
This will surely solve d problem (btw.. i hope ur're running stock, if not, go to recovery nd wipe data, cache, dalvik cache, etc nd den flash)

You need to flash stock rom again....this only can help. Coz odex files are necessary for stock apks to run...like secgallery2.apk is supported by secgallery2.odex and same with others

Looks like you have to flash it through odin. You can find the guide here

http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2505436

Apart from that, it might be a good idea to install cwm recovery on your phone. Here's another link to it. Good luck.

If you however managed to install cwm first, you can flash the stock rom via cwm. It's much easier that way, since some galaxy core are not recognize by odin.
