Yep. Did the same thing last night. My modem was updated, but my boot loader wasn't. Simple enough.

Pretty good. I don't have any exact numbers, but I would say its better than stock.

Not too bad on the stock kernel with ART enabled. Getting around 2.5-3 hours of screen on time on average.

Just a post as this seems to be the only place where people can talk about bugs and such;

On mine, the nightly from 1/27 worked reasonably well except bluetooth. I liked that google voice search worked even when plugged in a car dock and the phone connected by BT! woo hoo. The problem I was having with BT was that it would not reliably connect back to the car. I tried snapahot M3 and it was worse. I could not get a BT reconnect and now google voice search no longer worked when in the car dock. In CM11, CM10.2 and CM10.2.1 you cannot turn off the car dock audio if it is connected and the a2dp audio only sporadically would connect. I will wait for at least an RC before I try again. It looks like 4.4 is a significant change and a lot needs to be adjusted. I get random reboots with 10.2.1 and was getting them in the short time I was running 11. To me the most stable was CM10.

Browsing time: just as good as stock.
Video time: worse than stock.
Call time: worse than stock.

As a general rule, you will lose battery life flashing a custom ROM. Even with Greenify, my battery life still isn't as good as stock. However, I have an extended battery (3500 mah) and I love the customizations and so don't mind.

Honestly wish I had never moved to CM11.

Way too many bugs to deal with.

Issues I'm seeing:
Camera
Never could get the phone to restore from Google.
Photo gallery issues
Battery
