[Q] What is this Tab 6200?
Yes I am a noob at this. I bought what was advertised as a Tab2 10.1" on eBay from what turned out to be a pawn shop in CT and ended up receiving a 7" Tab. It is marked "Model 6200" on the back but has some odd power/data cable. The seller stated that he would take it back with full refund but from all of the features on this thing it might be worth more to fix (replace digitizer at minimum). I just have to figure out what it is and how deep I should get into it. At this point it is stone dead but who knows how long it has been sitting.
Left side edge
head phone jack set very deep
power/sync looks similar to micro usb but is set deep on the curvature of edge. It is no where similar to the standard Samsung wide connector. It measures about 1/4" wide and 1/8" tall. If it is micro usb, it must be some extended reach version.
power and volume buttons
Back silver/gray "Samsung CE0168 Model 6200 FCCID A3L6200 Rated 5V -1A WIFI TV" a symbol like a movie camera and "BPRS"
Camera on back and yellow circle thing below it (all the pictures I have found on the net show the yellow circle to the side.)
Front black (no Samsung or any markings other than navigation symbols)
I tried to link some pictures from my photobucket account but I do not have enough posts yet.
Thanks in advance.
