I agree on the R1, great sound for the price. I reviewed them in my thread after I bought them for my son.

The thing with skullcandy is that the mic and controls are not compatible with Android, the only controls that work are those labeled as "mic 1", and you can only pause/play music and so on.

@oreznal

Please keep this in mind :-
Skullcandy , Beats by Dr.Dre , Soul by Ludacris , JBL , Monster....... are overrated and aren't worth the price. Either follow Jeremy's(@jRi0T68) thread or check this out :-
Head-fi Multi-IEM Review
Go through the whole review and decide what do you want to buy with the budget you have in your hand.

If you're really tight with the budget then this is what I would suggest :-
Monoprice 8322 - (Best sounding earplugs ever)
Philips she3590 - (Recommend for Bass heads)
SoundMAGIC ES18 - (Great soundstage , and REALLY HEAVY BASS)
Panasonic ErgoFit RP-HJE120-A - (Better build quality than the above)
Audio Technica ATH-CLR100 - (Recommend for Metal heads , classical or Jazz)

Wanna build your own ultimate Gaming Rig ? Drop me a PM along with your budget and the components that you have in your mind.

I would checkout MonoPrice they have very inexpensive head phones that are very useful.

My SONY MDR-EX310LP-B sounds pretty well, especially in the bass department, and it looks aggressive
