I put a copy of stock on ROM slot 1 in SS updated and rooted to .165.

That is the only way I could get the deblurred ROMS offered in this thread.

However when I flashed them on top of stock they both did boot, but neither ave a data signal!

Im lost ha!

If you don't mind, give a try from bmm.

Recover stock system
Uninstall SS recovery
Uninstall SS app
Install bmm
Install bmm recovery
Reboot to recovery
Backup menu
Do a complete backup
Wipe menu
Wipe data, cache & dalvik
Install zip from storage
Select the zip file

Now, i haven't a xt912 to try the ROM, but i will in a few days

As I'm upgrade-eligible, I'm watching this thread closely, and want to do the same thing, only I want to flash CM10.2.1 on the stock slot. As soon as someone confirms that this is possible, I'm going for it. What's the worst that could happen? Get a New Droid MAXX for $99?
