Default Overly sensitive screen, how do I fix

I don't know what goes on with the screen sometimes, it is overly sensitive at times and at times I will be pointing at something to touch and without even touching it presses exactly what I was going to press and sometimes finger just gets close and it presses the button or screen, is that an option I can get rid of?

I have that issue at times as well. For me I just turn screen off then immediately back on and it fixes it for me. Not sure what causes it though. Happens about once every couple days for me.

it looks to be an old issue, I don't know why they haven't issued a fix yet, from what most people are saying is it happens to the T-Mobile variant than others, I have a Claro Variant which is D801 but really it is a D803 with LTE as someone put it.
