I basically wasn't able to do anything in download mode. The phone has to be off or black screen (on) to at least do some tricks using http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2582142. ADB couldn't detect the phone in Mac/Windows except Linux own Terminal. It's weird. Good thing I have an ISO image of Ubuntu on my PC. It's the only way I got to flash TWRP.
