To start off I take no credit for the ROM or Google Now Launcher. I'm simply sharing what I've done to get "OK Google" working on the SHOSTOCK XXUNFA5 ROM .

I'm on AT&T SGH-I337 GS4 with MDL boot loader. I'm rooted with TWRP installed. Like most of us I wanted to try out the SHOSTOCK ROM to see what changes had been made from 4.3. But I also love the Google Now Home launcher for the "OK Google" shortcut to search or voice commands for safer/easier texting and use while driving.

So like I said I installed the great SHOSTOCK XXUANF5 ROM. I used John's aroma theme installer for KitKat TW ROMs to give me the blue / darker look. Along with xposed installer with several different mods within it to customize to my liking. And then copy n pasted the Google Now Home Launcher from my ext SD card to "system/app". Then changed permissions to "rw-r--r--" I did all this with ROM TOOLBOX PRO. From the play market.

You can also find John's aroma TW KitKat themer in the apk's and theme's section here on XDA.

I'm not responsible for what you do to your phone or for any of the apks or ROM or themes/ mods I mentioned above. Just sharing something I haven't seen anyone mention yet and that makes my phone a little more useful to me.

Enjoy. Don't thank me or this post. Thank the themer and the DEV of SHOSTOCK.
