Default Battery %

Looking for a setting on the Nexus 7 2013 that will give me the battery % label next to my battery for easier reading. Is there such a setting??
Thank You, Vinny

This will work without root, as long as your on KitKat. The only problem is it will display the percentage inside the battery bar, and the percentage will be white, so you can't read it unless its below 30% or so. If your planning on rooting the tablet then you can use xposed, both gravity box, and xblast have circle with percent/ percent color with stock gauge, just percent, percent with gauge etc. Most custom ROM's come with this feature as well.

And no, you can't do it right out of the box with the stock settings, unfortunately.
Device information:

Primary phone: HTC one M8, S-off
Mods: Xposed, Extreme power saving (for Verizon)
Rom: Stock rooted 4.4.2 FWV: 1.55.605.2
kernel: Stock 3.4.0

Primary tab: Nexus 7 (2013)
Mods: Optimized Qualcomm libraries, multirom, DPS, Xposed
Primary ROM: 4.4, KRT16S
Secondary ROM: Ubuntu touch
Kernel: ElementalX 2.2

Yay open source developer's (You guys make my day at least once a week)
