Ok yesterday i dropped my phone face first on the floor at work indoors. Battery came out (anker extended 6400) and POS back case. After putting it back on it eventually stopped responding to the touch with my finger at the bottom but did respond to my pen. Did research here and read that it was a common problem but that sometimes its a hardware issue. I am rooted and had dark stalker rom on it. There is no insurance or returning it because i broke the warranty. Now....I booted into recovery and it responded to my finger touch at the bottom so I knew i could be saved. I just put on Temasek Aosp and now the touch works. Another issue I got before was that the battery would overheat (stock and extended) when trying to charge the phone. I am gonna hope and pray it doesnt overheart again now that I have a diff rom on it. Could it be the kernell that i flashed in a while back (compulsion kernel) ?
