Hello,

Yes, I've gone through many pages in this website before posting this question .

(1) I'm using Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S (2.3.4 // 4.0.2.A.0.62). Let us say this configuration "State A".

(2) I wish only to root it. I don't wish to unlock bootloader. I don't wish to change my current OS version. Is this possible?

(3) Let answer to above question is "yes", and I root the phone successfully to, say, "State B". Then would it be possible, by some means, to bring the phone again in "State A"?

Thanks & regards,

Maria.

Thanks for the reply.

http://www.phonandroid.com/forum/pos...8.html#p747948 is all about ERoot which is also available here in XDA at http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2219711

However above page has a link http://www.phonandroid.com/forum/son...ls-t25364.html which is very very useful for beginners like me.

Regards.
