Auto Backlight changer...

Hi there!!

Is there any app that automatically changes the backlight values in order of the time...

Like:

00:00 -> 08:00 - backlight level: 2
08:00 -> 12:00 - backlight level: 5
12:00 -> 00:00 - backlight level: 10

Everyday at 9:00 I've to change the backlight values, so I can save some battery, and then again at night... Maybe there's some software that can do it for me!

yea...i'm also think of the same method how to do it..

Not sure about an auto way? But you can use AE Button Plus to which has a backlight which mapped to hardware key makes changing very quick and saves going into settings.

I would sugest another method, although your's interest me!

Having a soft, grab a picture from the front camera every X seconds, check luminosity, and dim or lighten the screen acordingly... kind of a fake light sensor....

Well, I am using a profile application called phoneAlarm.

With that you can set up many phone features to a profile. Among them the phone back light level.
It also enables you to switch profile based on time. Thus, I have a home, work and night profiles that are automatically activated based on time and control my phone volume and back light level among a lot of other phone settings (e.g. wifi, bluetooth on/off).
