The Note 3 doesn't show any issues at all when reflashed unless Knox flag is tripped. Even then, the only "issue" is the warranty bit flag shown in Download mode and the loss of Knox container, which almost nobody uses. Out of a 100 buyers, you might find one that knows what root is and less than that who know how to get to Download mode, and even fewer who'd potentially use Knox, so no, not a problem.

Mass Storage mode seems to be a kernel issue - there is a thread of success with it Here

Apparently another little "GOTCHA!" Knox present from Samsung.

I haven't found a reason to use mass storage mode - MTP shows me Phone and Card and if I need more I use ES File Explorer on the phone for root and other hidden folders.
Never doubt there is Truth, just doubt that you have it!

I mean we can see th hidden files and folders with a . at starting of name in es file explorer or even in the stock samsung file manager

but if we want to see those same files on pc then they are nowhere shown on pc

No, you cannot reset the Knox binary trigger. I could not possibly care any less about it at this point in time.

I plan to use the device until something better comes along, then sell it, so why worry about it?
