No, when rooted never install OTAs as it can lead to incompatibilities that could get you stuck in bootloop etc.
install a custom recovery(i prefer TWRP: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2469995
) then choose a ROM, ensuring that it is D802 compatible (should say in the thread). The ROM will usually be updated to the latest available android version, if you dont want any tweaks go for a pure stock ROM:http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2521152
Ensure that when changing android versions that you are backed up (Titanium Backup:https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...umBackup&hl=en
) and make sure you follow the instructions on the ROM thread accurately.
