Hello everyone! I am about to root my phone and install twrp on it, but I wounder if I should backup anything before I root it and install twrp?

Ofc will I backup stock rom when twrp is installed, but when I want to go back to stock to update to offical kitkat, will I lose all data on my phone then? Is there any backup I can make to bring back all data when I go back to stock?

Thanks for all answers

You don't have to backup anything before root, however as a general rule I back up everything before I do just about anything on my phone. Not sure If you lose all data going back to stock, I know I did on my gnex. But you can use titanium and move that over to PC then back after you go to stock.
