Default [Q] Recover deleted data [photos]

Hi everyone,
i would like to recover so many photos from my one x+
I already tested few programs and it's work well but problem is with usb connection type, my pc detect device as htc one x+, not removable disk like any other phone.

1. Is it possible to connect htc one x+ as massive memory?
2. is any other way to recover data from this device?

i made/copy photos one month ago and just call/wirte/surf on device from this time so i hope that data is not overwritten.

You can try app, this works within the phone itself

Thanks, but my device is not rooted and if i'm right device must be cleared to root. Anyway, In most cases of tutorial 'how to root' it's possible to read about ensure that we got backup of important data so looks like it's risk right now.

edit:
lol, looks like i have double account, sorry i'll delete one right now, it was created one long time ago

Well the risk of loosing data while rooting is problem if your device bootloader is LOCKED and you are not S-OFF in that case , while unlocking your phone you will loose your data ..
