Battery Low Sprint ZVA update rootable?

I am on complete stock sprint LG g2 and was prompted to install ZVA.

Can I take the OTA and root my phone afterwards without any problems?

Thank you.

Sent from my Sprint LG G2 (LS980) using Tapatalk.

EDIT:
Since no one has replied yet, not sure if it's due to my ignorance or the lack of people who know the answer; but here is what I found.

I got some time to go though the IORoot's script and found the following:
Code:
Select Code
:SPRROOT
echo Found Sprint LS980 phone!
echo.
echo Checking OTA version...
for /f %%i in ('.\adb.exe shell getprop ro.lge.swversion') do set OTAVER=%%i
if %OTAVER%==LS980ZV7 GOTO SPRstockRoot
if %OTAVER%==LS980ZV8 GOTO SPRstockRoot
if %OTAVER%==LS980ZVA GOTO SPROTARoot
GOTO SPRNoMatch
This is the OTA.
Am I right to say that IORoot will root the OTA (ZVA)?

Not first hand knowledge, but I would say your assumption is correct. Seeing as it was just a radio update, I can't imagine it was difficult for them to update the rooting process. I just got my phone and got the OTA and was contemplating the same thing.

I do belive ioroot 22 works on zva. Do a search in the sprint forum. I rooted zv8 awhile ago. But I'm sure I read ioroot 22 works.
