Question [Q] My gt-s7500 has a broken USB port - is there another way to flash recovery?

I want to put cm-10.1-20131128-TechKang-trebon on the phone.

I can charge it via USB but after trying to use ODIN on 3x version of Windows (2x 7 and 8) I have to accept it's not a driver issue and the port is damaged.

It apparently took a bath in the sea.

If you have root access then use this to flash recovery (do not flash ROMs with it):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2407368

Else you will need to use another PC or to fix the port.

You can flash that tar file directly with FLASH TAR button under RECOVERY text box.
