Wi-Fi Manager is an application born out of the necessity of backing up/restoring/ sharing Wi-Fi network connections and also because I forget some network passwords. At the moment the application requires ROOT permissions and is still in development.
At the time of this writing the app can :
- automatically retrieve WiFi networks from the device
- search saved networks
- view Wi-Fi passwords
- backup WiFi networks to file
- restore WiFi networks from a backup file
- share one or more WiFi networks (tested with Bluetooth)
PS : I also tried the share feature with Evernote, the files is shared correctly but Evernote fails to open it because the file has a custom extension. Apparently Evernote does not use the Android Intent system to open attachements.
The app can be downloaded from "https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ro.stemo.android.wifimanager " or from the bottom of this post.
Constructive feedback is welcomed and appreciated.
