I usually always do that since lpa.decode often causes audio studdering and popping, especially on switching tracks while on bluetooth.
Can anybody test if BT is working correctly? I've had quite a few AOSP based ROMs which always have little audio distortions and crackling while BT A2DP streaming.
My problems with Viper4audio were actually homegrown, I have a bass-augmenting pair of headphones and enabled bass boost on V4A settings which gave me the distortion I was talking about. No stuttering, no problems, no hickups when using V4A yet.
I use a BT headset for phone calls, and so far it's good with no problem. Only thing I had was that the person on the other end didn't listen and talked solely all the time so I had a hard time transmitting anything towards her... but that might not have to do anything with this ROM
