There are plenty of issues to be fixed by Sony in cam department.
Outdoor, there are not many issues. Indoors, the focus the image quality goes for toss in anything other than Intelligent Auto for me, I have been testing camera phones for ages. THe fact that indoors in limited lighting, Nexus 5 and Moto X are getting better focus and less noise should be taken very seriously by Sony.
At 20 MP, no matter what setting I try in manual, the focus is never proper in limited light conditions where other 4 phones that I own have no issues. Hard to believe this is a hardware issue as such. Hopefully Sony is working on it. I am working on taking multiple images in controlled environment to showcase the issue. Might be done with it sometime next week.
Outside in decent to good lighting or even night shooting when you are trying to capture images at distance, the camera works great. It just does not handle indoors well.
