I tried it.. did not work. I used to get stuck at NAND write fail .. thanks anyway.. hope this thread helps for anyone in future who has the problem.

I downloaded the stock rom from sammobile and flashed it via odin in the PDA tab.. Didnt use any pit file.. didnt select repartition..

It did the trick and my note is back to normal.. after that i rooted my device using dr.ketan's root advice by the 2nd recommended mothod ( that philz kernal one )..

Now i am on Arya Mod Rom and thinking of flashing vengencenote rom ..

P.S i used the Odin V 1.85, the same used in Dr.ketan's guide.. I first used latest version of Odin and got error and tried the V1.85 and it worked but that's not all i did. I also plugged my phone into diff USB port and used the default samsung white cable .. So i am not sure V1.85 helped but hey it doesn't hurt to try rite!
