Galaxy Ace 3 Development Centre

For now,all Ace 3 Development will be here and if there is any enquiries, please post here so that i can unite all developers who want to develop for Ace 3 under one thread

Galaxy Ace 3 3G GT-S7270
Galaxy Ace 3 LTE with DualSIM GT-S7275R

Galaxy Ace 3 Dual-Sim only GT-S7272

RULES TO ADHERE:
-If you are taking someone's else work and posting it here, please do not do that because it is an act of kanging and this will make developers feel that this particular phone user does not respect his/her work
-Strictly no flaming of each another or spam in this thread
-Help others who are in need of help

Note:Be wary of what you are installing because Ace 3 have three different variants GT-S7270,S7275R,GT-S7272 and their firmwares are totally different because i have view the source code of Ace 3 and its entirely different

Default Galaxy Ace 3 Custom Kernel

Hi everyone.I know some of you might be facing this issue where you cannot root at all.Let me explain why, first Samsung has introduced a new feature in the kernel called Samsung Root Restriction Feature and this makes it difficult for users to root therefore i have compiled a newer stock kernel with Samsung Root Restriction feature disabled.I will edit a better thread once Ace 3 has its own forum

Disclaimer:I am not responsible for your device loss

Features:
-Samsung Root Restriction Features disabled
-O3- Optimisation flag
-EXT 4 Support
-Experimental USB-OTG Support

Note GT-S7270 and GT-S7272: Do not install this kernel, your kernel source are different, these is only for GT-S7275R

GT-S7275R Download:https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B06...it?usp=sharing

Flash with ODIN

Click on PDA and choose this tar file

and flash the file

Kernel source:Going to upload soon because my internet broke down and all i have is mobile data

Default Stock Kernel and Recovery GT-S7275R

Good people! As I saw that there is no developer for now for our GT- S7275R , I decided to put myself to develop , starting with simple things, but useful.
Today I bring you the stock kernel (the default one), for people who want to return to factory kernel without having to flash the Stock Rom, and lose all data. Well, let's start :

NOTES:

- It do not delete data from the mobile
- You need Odin

Instructions:

- Download Stock Kernel: http://www.mediafire.com/download/p3...ML1_Kernel.tar

- Open Odin v3.07
- Put the phone in download mode ( Vol down + Home + Power) , Volume Up to accept and connect it to your computer

- If you have connected successfully, one of the boxes ID:COM turns yellow or blue with the number of COM port. This step may take a few minutes, but usually takes a few seconds.

- Place the tar file (Kernel ) in the PDA box .

- Check on the boxes ODIN " automatic restart " options F. Reset Time " are checked.

- Click on START in ODIN and wait for it to finish , it takes a few minutes.

- When the process is finished , the phone will reboot , and READY .

Enjoy the Stock Kernel

PS: do not post elsewhere without giving credits or asking permission

Good GA3 (Galaxy Ace 3) follower ! As I put in my post of Stock Kernel , I'm doing little things in Ace Development 3. Today I bring you something else: Stock Recovery .
It is the recovery mode (vol up + home + power) that comes by default . With it, you can not install tweaks , mods or ROMs , only minor official update from Samsung. Therefore, only serves to make factory resets, wipe cache and little else.
But you will surely be useful if you put a "course" for our S7275R ClockWorkMod does not work, and better than no recovery, I have the stock .

NOTES:

- It do not delete data from the mobile
- You need Odin

Instructions:

- Download Stock Recovery: http://www.mediafire.com/download/4e...k+Recovery.tar

- Open Odin v3.07
- Put the phone in download mode ( Vol down + Home + Power) , Volume Up to accept and connect it to your computer

- If you have connected successfully, one of the boxes ID : COM turns yellow or blue with the number of COM port. This step may take a few minutes, but usually takes a few seconds.

- Place the tar file ( Recovery) in the PDA box
.
- Check on the boxes ODIN " automatic restart " options F. Reset Time " are checked.

- Click on START in ODIN and wait for it to finish , it takes a few minutes.

- When the process is finished , the phone will reboot , and READY .

Enjoy the Stock Recovery

Good GA3 followers! Some of you may realize that you have, and others maybe not yet. Our Ace 3 has a problem with the WiFi:

- In slow WiFi connections, we do not have Internet, is very slow and can not navigate.
- In fast WiFi connections, the speed is low and feel bad.

You may wonder why, and honestly, I do not know. But the point, I know the solution. It's temporary, until we have CWM and Custom ROM (this will be very soon, I hope).
Everything is related to WiFi Direct, the solution here:

1. Go to settings

2. Enable WiFi

3. Enter menu WiFi (in settings)

4. We'll see who puts down a section called "WiFi Direct"

5. Open it, and below left, give "Stop"

6. Ready!

* If you do not want to do this every now and then, go to your root uninstaller, and freezes the app called "WiFi Direct 2.0 *

That's all folks
