Some update on my work/progress below
This is what you can expect in next release:
- USB tethering
- Bluetooth tethering
- Currently WiFi and Bluetooth MAC addresses are fakes. This might cause problems, most notably BT tethering didn't work because of that. I found out how to obtain proper MAC addresses and this will be fixed in newest release.

Stuff that might be included in next release but I don't promise it( even if I include it it won't be tested since I don't have equipment to do it):
- NFC

Stuff that I'd like to get done before I move on to porting CM 10.1:
- SIM card contacts/smses
- Manual service operator selection
- Bluetooth wakelocks problem fix

That means the beginning of CM 10.1 development is close.

How could I change my WiFi MAC address so it'd stick until I reboot? I tried all the options on market, but they won't work.

Check commit https://github.com/Varcain/android_d...dd447de74c0904

Basically you need to create /data/misc/wifi/config file with cur_etheraddr=XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX where XX are replaced with MAC address you want. In upcomming release this will be taken from NVRAM partition so MAC addresses will be same as in stock.

If you want to use fake address you can do it already for WiFi, for BT it won't work yet (property in build.prop is missing, again refer to the commit if you want to add it yourself).

Is it possible after the new release, or on the stock ROM?

If you want to fake MAC address after new release you would have to remove /system/bin/hwaddr program, then just create file like I described (you would have to create such file for BT as well then or else BT tethering and possibly other stuff won't work).

I don't know about stock.

I know it's still BETA but i couldn't wait to install it. It's ready, in my opinion, for daily use, although some minor fixes are needed.

-Contacts are all visible, despite what you wrote on the Forum post
-QuickButton is working too (thanks for pointing out), but has a delay.

-SMS import from SIM, IR and other stuff not working as you said.

I've installed your ROM the day 15 march 2014 from a Vodafone IT branded ROM without problems.
I haven't installed it on SD card as you recommended, but in internal memory.
I'd love you to check if it's possbile for IR to work as this is the only thing i am missing from a stock ROM.

Another thing i'd love to ask to you guys is: How can i lower the brightness of this device? In build.prop there is ro.lge.lcd_default_brightness which is set to 133. I've lowered it even to 0, saved and rebooted but it doesn't seem to work while it keeps its value at 0 after reboot.
Thanks in advance =)
