I downloaded this yesterday and I am liking it ALOT: it seems just as fast after 16h of uptime as it was at boot, which was a big gripe I had with 4.2.2
In adition, I now switch between Facebook, Duolingo and Spotify, sometimes with more than one of these running in the background, and I am amazed at how a single-core phone can keep up.
I have noticed some issues, though (not sure if they are related to CM11 or KitKat in general):
-The keyboard's '.' key has lost some of its hold keys
. Is there a way to revert to the way it was on 4.2.2, without downloading a new keyboard?
-The launcher icons' labels are cut-off at the bottom: for example, words with 'g', 'y' or 'p' have their "legs" cut-off;
(more glaringly Facebook's) simply disappear from the list
when activating the Google Search option from the Launcher settings (even if we are able to place them with the option off, and then turning it on again);
are disabled, and I can't find the option to enable
them (it's not on security, as I've seen for other phones).
Again, many thanks to arco and those who made KitKat possible on a single-core, low-budget phone!
