Thanks for the fast and prompt reply Doom.
Quick question, if i was to test would you be willing to work on a kernel? i was looking at the Z1 forum and how both phones are very similiar would this make the transition easier?
If you're not interested or short on time no worries.
Do anything long enough and sooner or later thats who you will become!

If @DooMLoRD can't add Xperia Z1 Compact in his DoomKernel support list would it be ok if I will be the one to port your kernel? I already have the defconfig for amami which I got by dumping it directly from the stock kernel by extracting ikconfig porting it and having it running on our device should just be easy as pie for me.

I was in flashmode, but you have to be in fastbootmode. Hope this is helping.

first of all.. I am not using flashtool.. I am using fastboot method through cmd to execute boot.img.. secondly.. I have unlocked the bootloader through the same method so I know that I am in the right mode .. that is fastboot mode (blue light)... Plus the screenshot above also shows the that the device is connected in fastboot mode ( because the response time is 0.5)...

So why does it says "waiting for device" when the device is already connected in fastboot mode!!! thats my question..
if @DooMLoRD would be kind to guide me in this matter..
