Honestly I use my phone the way I want to, location on, nfc basically everything on with brightness at 60% auto. and I can still pull 5h of SoT out of this bad boy lol I came from a galaxy nexus and you basically have to shut things off to get decent battery life...NOT ON THIS MUAHAHA
If I have typos in my post I'm on my phone and in a hurry :P
My Devices
Nexus S - Sold
Droid Razr - Broken
Galaxy Nexus - Sold
Nokia Lumia 820 - Sold
LG G2 - Current

I don't think that stock battery monitor is giving out correct readings.
how is it possible that i have 7h screen on time in one day and still screen takes only 22% while Android System takes 18% and Android OS takes 13% ???
I would rather look at GSAM stats if i want detailed info.

will try once the update comes
Pretty average user here. Not into root/flash stuff.
Just use my mobile for Tapatalk/Browsing/PDF reading mostly and i am happy as long as it gives good battery backup while doing these things.
I hope kitkat update won't touch the great battery life on this mobile.
