No problems so far, but the app prompted me to reinstall the plugin.

Unhappy Galaxy Nexus - not working

For Galaxy Nexus (maguro) on 4.1.1 stock rooted it is not working.

I selected the texture plugin and hit install.
After a short time it attempted a soft restart (does not work for me for some months for whatever reason).
After booting into the system I launch GLTools. I shortly see the apps list and GLTools crashes right away without a report possibility.

Anyone happen to know how to make a custom profile?
I'm in the reviewing business and I was hoping to cover some older games, so emulating older GPUs would be pretty useful...but I look at a page with data like this - http://gfxbench.com/device.jsp?bench...y&testgroup=gl - ...I actually have no clue what info matters there and how to properly make a profile out of it.

I'm having a weird problem with GLtools v1.07 and Need for Speed most wanted on my Galaxy Advance. The game works pretty good without it installed (some tracks do lag a bit and I wanted to maybe improve that with GLTools). After installing GLTools the game lags bad (I get around 10FPS) with every setting I tried and even the car preview in menu lags. Other games I tried and didn't experience this problem are Dead Trigger 2 and Deus Ex. Anyone got any clues on what's going on or how can I help figuring this problem out?

If you didn't change anything specific to this game it may be something to do with global setting of texture decompression or recompression. Maybe there is a load of unsupported texture.

Maybe a nooby question here ... I tried GLTOOLS (xda version) on my Galaxy S2 i9100 with modern combat 4 with settings
AA : Disabled
Texture decompression : Unsupported only
Texture Recompression : disabled
Downscale textures : 0.5x

It decreased the graphics though but it didn't improve game performance ..its still choppy and lags like usual o.O
Am I doing something wrong ?

Smile Modern Combat 4

Can anybody help me find the settings for Modern Combat 4 using Gltools?.

been trying to work out for a while what settings to use to make the games graphics higher. Anyone know the settings?

i'm using Google Nexus 7 (2012)

Tested Gltools with the following games and these are the settings i used

Asphalt 8: Airborne - you'll know this is working by playing the Tokyo race track.

Enable custom settings for this app, Force 16 bit rendering (reduces lag), Optimize GLSL shaders,
Enable Texture decompression (All), Enable Texture Recompression (Disable),
Use fake GPU, Use Fake Cpu, Mali-T604, Simple MapBuffer emulation.

Zombie Driver -

Enable custom settings for this app, Force 16 bit rendering (reduces lag),
Enable Texture decompression (All), Enable Texture Recompression (Disable)
Use fake GPU, Use Fake Cpu, Tegra 4 (SHIELD), Simple MapBuffer emulation.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks
