I suffer DOA with my first 9506, and the new one come with 4.3, i rooted it and oviously it increse my knox counter :P
Since we flash an insecure kernel, it will trigger the KNOX warranty. And there is at the moment no way to bring it back to 0x0. Some claims that an e-fuse is blown, but I'm not to sure about that. But at least it will never change to anything else than 0x1.
You say that you have already rooted your phone, but I assume you're probably still using the stock kernel with all its nasty restrictions build in; Meaning that KNOX, security policies and other stuff is still in there spooking around.
I found out, that even on 4.2.2 I didn't have fully root rights due to the policy restrictions...I therefore made this kernel with unlimited root access, no policy checking and preventing it from supplying Samsung with any information regarding the system environment. I don't want to give them any information at all, they already knows enough.
Some also claims that if you break the KNOX warranty you are 'punished' by Samsung/Google and not able update on Google Play...to be honest...BS, the French phone we made KNOX free is still running perfectly, even with Google Play.
Well, enough for now. Don't wanna make you sleepy.
