Default [Q] Any downside to getting updates on developer phone?

I unlocked my phone through Dreamspark, using my university email. I know that one of the things that I can do with a developer unlock is download and install updates straight from Microsoft. Is this worth it? Do these updates ever decrease the performance of the phone, especially battery life, signal strength, data speeds, and RAM management?

I have a Lumia 520 on AT&T.

Thanks!!

So far, I've never seen any such problems. However, that early-access-to-updates thing has only been available for one update so far (GDR3).

Do not private message me with questions that should have been posted on the forum! Not only are you wasting your time - I'm not going to bother writing an answer to such a question for only one person - but I will probably block you from PMing me in the future as well.
