Hi Paulo, all,
I've been using this ROM Since almost the first release. Thanks Paulo for your great job.
I've notice an issue in the last releases... the DeviceID is always changing in a reboot.
Even if you set your own, then if you reboot, a new one is shown there.
Always has this name format "WINDOWDMOBILE##" where ## is a number... I had alreay number 9, then 51, then 50... and so on.
Is there a way to set a fix name? For TOMTOM PC software this is an issue since is always asking to assign license to this new "device"....
Thanks.
AF
strange...never had any lasting issues...
what do you do? more detail as to those "my settings" please...
one more thing...flash original and put in your settings and see if problems are gone...
cheers
No problems here only low volume, btw Pcar... is there any way to increase the volume of the FM from any registry? Thanks PCar.
My polaris works absolutely wonderful with build 28008 radio 1.65.80..fast no crashes or freezes.
just one problem though. I think it is just my phone. FM radio does not tune in any stations. used to work at one point in time. probably coz of the several falls it encountered. just out of curiosity does anyone else experience this??
but on clock/alarm settings is nothing new....where are these settings after install...??? sorry but not find it....Can you help me...?
thanks

ok.
After installing the ROM and reset all seems to be ok.
I've installed several programs and the my Polaris freezed so I had to do a re-boot. After that - it took a very long time for booting - I came to the setup-screen (calibrating the screen) and after that all my installed programs were gone... There was no owner-information also. I've tried 28008 several times but I couldn't use it because of these problems.
After that I've tried 23053 - the same.
Now I'm back to 3L3 6.1
No problems until now but I'd like to have your 28008 on my Polaris.
programs:
Resco File Explorer
ThumbCal
IGo 8
Iconsoft Phone Ex 2.01
SKTools
...but in different orders... so I can't say it was caused by this or that program.
It often happened after setting the regional settings to "german" or changed the keybord layout to german "qwertz"...
Yes, I was very annoyed, too, at the fact that HTC removed snooze options in the new Notification Manager. But there's a way to get them back:Why on Calendar is not possible to snooze 5-10-15-30 minutes or 1 hour ?
Snooze 5 minutes only is not convenient !
thanks
Yes, I was very annoyed, too, at the fact that HTC removed snooze options in the new Notification Manager. But there's a way to get them back:
Open Start -> System Tools -> Advanced Config. Select HTC User Interface.
Now change:
You'll have snooze options back, but the notifications will also be "old-style".
- NotificationManager.dll to NotificationManager.dllbak in Enable Topaz notification manager.
- NotificationLayout.dll to NotificationLayout.dllbak in Enable Topaz Popup.

What do you mean, I refer to your two roms 28005 and 28008, in first the activesync work perfectly and 28008 is very slow. Do you know if somebody have the same problem? Regards.
I have tried this solution but it only works for once......
after that there is no sound on the device.....its like i have a dead speaker....no tones no nothing.....
any other solution or a re-cooked rom with the problem pre-fixed?
