thanks for fast response but i'm a complete noob and apart from flashing ROM and GAPPS have no idea how to use that script or anything else for that matter. can you please tell in detail how to use that script and in which OC kernel to use? you can PM if you want, to keep unrelated posts to a minimum on the thread. i would really appreciate

I told this to him, it'll take him time to realize.

can you please post the output of
Code:
su -c 'cat /sys/android_touch/dt2sswitch'
run from an android terminal, or adb shell here?

Because, in my own testing, after flashing cody_kernel_v3.1.zip (after user reports of DT2S enabled by default), I still don't have DT2S disabled by default :|

Disabling DT2S, once and for all!

That's a total of 4 people who have reported a "no-no" for dt2s

Changelog v3.2
  • Permanently turned off DT2S
  • Disabled CIFS. Of no real use

Download: cody_kernel_v3.2.zip

P.S: Tested myself. It is disabled for me. Those who reported problems with DT2S being enabled are expected to provide feedback.
