+1 for the lg stock player, 2nd comes bsplayer and 3rd mx player

Sadly the LG Stock player doesn't support .mkv files (or better said their sound) so u was on the hunt for one that does... MX doesn't, V-player doesn't and others I tried didn't work either until I found VLC beta. I haven't found anything that that player doesn't support yet.
Sadly you can't put it in a window like the stock one

I very much doubt that.
Which audio format was that? There is a plug-in for DTS, you can find more in settings.

umm idk i would have to look it up.
it just said not supported audio codec lol so i just tried vlc -> worked flawless

I think BS Player is easily the best. Not only does it support all formats, but has auto replay, speed controls, and more.

Goodplayer Pro is also a good solution for player
