back camera not working

Hello, I hope this is in the correct forum section, if not please feel free to move this. I have the transformer prime with kitkat 4.4.2 installed using cyanogenmod 11-20140123 and i'm unable to use my back camera after a few weeks of having installed. One day instagram updated, and from that point on, whenever i activate the back camera, it only flashes green, purple, and parts of past pictures i've taken on the screen, the front camera works though. I'm not sure exactly what to do, i have uninstalled instagram and tried using the camera app, and it does the same thing. Any app on the tablet that accesses the camera, the back camera shows up the same distorted view of green, purple, and bits and pieces of previous pictures. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
