So cf auto root by chainfire, on kitkat 4.4.2, doesnt trigger knox? in the cf root thread it says it does. Im confused!

It will trip. No safe method in kitkat. At least yet. Dunno future

From what people say. There is an e-fuse for the knox switch. Once you Flash, the switch goes from 0x0 to 0x1. The e-fuse apparently cannot be reset.
But there has been instances where rooting has not toggled the knox switch

On newer bootloader, if I m not wrong mj3 nd above on n9005, confirm it will trip. No possibilities for not triggering knox 0x1.
I have tried on several devices.
