I just got a t-mobile g2 that came with 4.4.2 and I'm trying to root it but every time its rebooting to recovery it just flashes the little android for a second and then boots like normal. Can anyone help me out to figure out how to root it?

Thanks for the reply, I have been trying to root with ioroot the problem is that it doesn't reboot to recovery when it gets to that step. I even Tried the manual method he posted and it only manages to flash the little green android for a second before booting like normal.

currently there is a problem when it gives the adb reboot recovery the d801 doesn't reboot recovery and right now there is not a fix, autoprime knows of the situation
