Hi
Can anyone recommend a external portable hard drive, which works with my note 10.1 2014e. Just looking at some on ebay would a drive that draws power directly from the USB port work okay

You can use any 2.5" had and it will power directly from the tablet. I personally use wd passport drives. Just remember that if your gonna be using large film files over 4gb then format it exfat as fat32 had a limit of 4gb per file.

Uau! ! Isn't it too expensive for a 750GB disk? ? For that price you get a 2TB.

I`m using a Seagate Wireless Plus 1TB. It is a great one and it is working perfectly with Android 4.3 and IOS 7.1.

Thumbs up Usb 3.0 hard drive
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...9SIA0AT1E63463

This one is sweet because it is not only USB 3.0, but you can also snap the end off and connect it into any sata port as well. So it serves as a ultra fast, reliable external & internal hard drive. Great investment! Mine is 3 years strong!
