That makes sense. I think HTC and Facebook are in bed together. Its the only Phone company that let's you sync contact photos without the need of a 3rd party app. I use to own the HTC EVO 4G (Sprints version of the One X)

Everyone of ny friends has got the new UI so it should not be server side all will get the UI if you are in alpha and NOT IN BETA and follow steps properly

Make sure you have left the beta testing and clear data and cache reboot your phone and check on play store for update

I'll try again...

edit: awesome, just left the alpha and rejoined, not it's v9 whatever... first starting up the app it was the old ui then as mentioned early cleared it from recents and reloaded the app = new ui. Thanks heaps.

Was pretty sure it was 100% server sided unless they changed it.

My Nexus 5 and Note3 both have the new UI, Nexus 5 on Alpha and Note3 on Beta, both latest versions of each.

Been a beta tester for a few months, didn't change the program or anything. Got the new UI yesterday or the day before IIRC.

it works for everyone whos in alpha dude

Um I'm an alpha tester and bets tester and did not get the new ui until I left both and reverted to the normal version .. So yea its completely random

again its only for ALPHA TESTERS if you had read my instructions clearly you would know it so yeah its not random READ AGAIN!!!!!

Yep waited a few hours and the 9.x update was in play. Its random for beta testers and non testers but this definitely works for alpha testers
