Default Root issue

But the apps are worki working fine which need root access

Do you have any superuser app installed? Make sure that root checker is not blacklisted.

Strange but the apps are working fine.
I am confused do I have root or not?
Do I have to flash cf-autoroot via odin again?

You are on 4.4.2 or 4.3 or 4.2.2 ??
On 4.4.2 cf auto root might not work

Install philz touch recovery. It has an option to reroot/install su binary
