Development on hold until LG G Watch is released (as of 5/1/14)

NOW BOOTING! REALLY! lol (not for lite yet)

I have made a working beta Android Wear port for Z Watch based on the square emulator system dump.
it is for both Z1 & Z1 Lite watches.
Also for clones: Ekoore Go Watch, SpeedUP Smartwatch

I don't have this device, so I can't test this... Please test for me & give feedback...thanks!

In NEW *NEW* april 16th release:
add libs OUTSIDE apk TOO to fix fc (attempt 2)
moar hax (secret. :P)

In NEW april 14th release:
default english lol
fix FC i hope
add magicccode arm emulator from ingenic (will also fix ok google)

Download: NEWER APRIL 16
make sure to click on FILE NAME at top, NOT GREEN DOWNLOAD BUTTON!
Z1:http://speedy.sh/GVmyH/wear-SmartQ-z...-test-keys.zip
Z1 Lite: http://speedy.sh/8Yu7J/wear-SmartQ-z...-test-keys.zip

Lite does not work currently! I'm sorry
http://parrotgeek.net/wear/Android_Wear_Beta.apk is wear client beta apk for any phone/tablet on 4.3+

Features
  • Stock Google feel, pure android wear, slim, no bloat, heavily optimized, with almost no mods
  • will be regularly updated
  • will be port from LG G Watch when it/a leaked rom comes out
  • Trying to be fast, stable, with no bugs

Screenshots
  • coming soonish lol

Known bugs
  • none, I hope!

To do for next release: wipe data "correctly" & on lite, FIX LITE NOT BOOTING!

if your device gets bricked, hope not: http://tabletrepublic.com/forum/smar...atch-5089.html

Hey not super familiar with how to deodex. If you can walk me through it I would be happy to test for you.

I tried it on my z lite which was bootlooping. In the middle of the firmware upgrade i saw a red 'X' for a split second then the animation stopped. I left it for a couple of minutes then it went back to the firmware upgrade page. It was supposed to restart the watch once the upgrade completes. But since it went back to the upgrade page I'm guessing it didnt go well.
There is a restore tool for the z1, an upgrade for the z1 and another for the z lite. Maybe you can look in to those and help you compile an upgrade.zip which will work for the z1 and z lite. And hopefully help me bring new life to my paper weight. I would love to help with a logcat but i don't know how to get 1.

I will post a version that could debug and tell you on the screen what went wrong, in 1 hour or so
do not retry in the meantime, It could brick watch until i fix a typo in the new file!!

maybe, you could use restore tool first. bootloop maybe causing it not to flash the zip? like corrupted OS?

I don't think you need to; if it does need deodex I could figure it out myself

the first step is to get boot animation lol

I will be uploading a fixed rom attempt later today, including
  • debug updater-script
  • adb always enabled
  • supersu for MIPS
  • turn on BT at boot to fix "no bluetooth" message
  • turn off wifi at boot to save battery
  • zip compressed at max level to be smaller
  • ADDED: REBASE ON v3.5 ROM lol

I cannot use the restore tool because it is for the z1 not the z lite. It has a different firmware in it that will surely not work with the lite. Unless, maybe you can look into it and see if you can swap files from the zlite firmware upgrade file into it and maybe change some codes?
