I was able to preform my unlock but now I get this strange message. "type password to decrypt storage".
Before the unlock the tablet was fine, I logged in to goolg and everything was good.

I never completed this step
Quote:

mount system

adb shell

cd /system

mv recovery-from-boot.p recovery-from-boot.bak

because recovery-from-boot.p does not exist in that directory.

What happened?

Also I was going to try a wipe but CWM took over my tablet so the asus recover is missing now.

I attempted to flash a stock rom and it failed in many ways during the process now all I get is a boot loader. Every option fails to boot. Also I guess I can not connect with adb now? All I get is no devices found.

I had to do the same thing on my N5. I bought it used and unlocked the bootloader. Then tried to flash stock 4.4.2 on it. Eventually I thought I bricked my brand new toy....and I've never bricked any device.

Anyway, all my troubles were because the previous owner encrypted it. And I had no idea. Lol

Got it going finally with something similar to your link. 😉

Sent from my N5, N7, Moto X, G Tab 3 or S2.....
