Hello, I am trying to unroot my KF 1st gen. I mount the KF via TWRP and drag and the update.zip onto the storage. I try to flash it in TWRP but it gives me errors.
Updating partition details...
Installing'/sdcard/update.zip'...
Checking for MD5 file...
Skipping MD5 check: no MD5 file found.
Verifying zip signature...
E:Zip signature verification failed: 1
Error flashing zip '/sdcard/update.zip
Updating partition details...

Please help! I want my kindle unrooted!
EDIT NOTE: I found out why it was not working. I had to flash a older TWRP. IF an admin can delete this hat would be great!

For me, I had to flash the update.zip using TWRP 2.2.2.1. If you used KFU to root your Kindle, then you can flash this twrp version and it should allow you to flash the update.zip properly.

Yep, I was looking around other XDA forums and saw that. Used flashify but still got the original ROM.
